2 months to go.

Well, Sovijada left this morning to go to Cambodia for 2 months. She was in Atlanta last I talked to her and she'll be arriving in Seoul, Korea at around 4 in the morning. This is gonna really suck not having her here, not only will I be extremely bored but Chloe is gonna go crazy without her. I took Chloe for a walk today and she was looking back frequently looking for Sovijada. I hope she calms down and isn't so nervous and crazy for the whole 2 months. For once I want time to go really fast.

All I've got to take my time is write music, work out and do eBay stuff. I found some crap to sell to help me get a new (old) bass guitar and a fixed gear bicycle. I'm selling my Beetle so that'll be a weight off my shoulders. Can't wait till it's gone. Well, bye nobody that reads my blog.

Iran denied 'ground zero' visit.

The police in New York have rejected a request from Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president, to visit the World Trade Center site and lay a wreath, a police spokesman has said.

Ahmadinejad, who is arriving on Sunday to address the United Nations' General Assembly, had asked for permission to visit the site, Paul Browne said on Wednesday.

"Requests for the Iranian president to visit the immediate area would also be opposed by the NYPD on security grounds," Browne said.

Mohammad Mir Ali Mohammadi, spokesman for the Iranian mission to the UN, said he was not notified officially that Ahmadinejad would not be allowed at the site, but said it was unfortunate.

"President Ahmadinejad intended to lay a wreath at the site of ground zero in order to pay tribute to the victims of the terrorists attack of September 11, 2001. We are hopeful that we can still work something out with the police department," he said.

I find this pretty frustrating. Here we have a leader from a country that we're having problems with, and it would be very beneficial to both of us if we got along, and this might help to heal some of the problems. I see nothing wrong with letting Ahmadinejad place a wreath on the ground zero site, I've never visited it myself but then again, I don't get off on destruction. I'm not saying that everyone that visits that site is going because of the death, I'm sure a few actually go to mourn, but most go because it's a fucking horror show.

I also found the part about how the NYPD would be against Ahmadinejad's vist on "security grounds". A little late for that aren't you? It's pretty easy to secure NY when there is no threat.

You know what America, how about you let the citizens of NYC vote on if they want Ahmadinejad to visit ground zero or not? Democracy wins again!

Gotta Make It Stop!

I drive a routine, I'll make it my grave,
My eyes haven't seen hardship, my tears are fake,
I'm sleeping as I stand, awake long enough to twitch,
Never awake long enough to change or care, really care,
I want life, not the life I was promised by the mouths that didn't want me to have it,
Twenty-seven down, I'm waiting for the punch line.

Being vegan and pro choice!

You say: "You're a hypocrite!" "You can't be vegan and be pro choice, how can you care more about animals than babies?!" "Will someone think of the children?!!" Well, my response is, I hate babies! No, I'm kidding, well kind of. It's true I'm not a big fan of babies but I don't want to kill babies, I don't want anybody to kill babies. What you have to realize is, a fetus is not a living thing. Also, a mothers choice to have an abortion is her choice and her choice alone. Animals do not have this luxury. An animal never offers up its body to satisfy its preys hunger. I've never seen a rabbit lay down for a fox, I've never seen a Zebra lay down for a lion and I've never seen a cow lay down for the bolt gun. All animals want to live as long and as healthy as possible. There is a huge difference between a woman choosing to abort a fetus and millions of animals a day being killed for human hunger, that difference is choice.

I'll now go to the topic of killing the old. If my parents were in an accident and put on life support with no hope of rehabilitation in the future, I would have the plug pulled. Now, before you say, "you're playing God!" Get real, putting a person on a machine that breathes for them is playing god, if god had his way that person would have been dead long ago when their body quit on them. I would expect the same would be done for me. I wouldn't want a machine to keep me living. The same goes for my pets. If they are suffering and in constrant pain it will be my choice to have them put down. I will not watch my friend suffer more and more each day as I keep him living for my selfish wants.

I guess that is all I wanted to rant about right now. This just came to me when I saw a person complaining about a certain vegan being pro choice and I thought I'd write how I felt about it.

My first blog! ...or, how I jumped into the 20th century.

My first entry and I'm going to start ranting as soon as possible. Michael Vick. What are you doing? I used to be such a fan of yours until I heard about your dog murdering and your dog rape machines. Notice I didn't say gambling. Gambling, that is being pegged as the major crime Vick committed. If you think that, fuck you and fuck Vick. Vick wants everyone to forgive him. The very least you could do Vick, would be to donate a large sum of money to animal rights groups or to kennels. You didn't even think of that did you? Of course not, because you don't care! You see nothing wrong with killing dogs or any animal for that matter. Before you get absolute forgiveness, why don't you try doing something to right your wrong? What a selfish asshole.

Speaking of assholes, there is a march for peace and the impeachment of Bush in D.C. on September 15th. That's a Saturday for anyone interested. I'm very excited, it's my first protest for anything. I'm not excited because I'm going to try and meet people or because I'm a riot hound, I'm just glad that I'm going to show my frustration and anger toward Bush's horrible leadership.

I guess that is it for right now, I've got other things that are pissing me off but I'll write about them tomorrow.
